Susan Roshan Interview
Susan born in Hamedan and her family moved to the United States when she was 9 years old. She entered the Iranian music scene with her first album " Khakestar" only released on tape. Her second album Doroogh Nagoo allowed her to gain acclaim. Many believe this to be her first album when in fact it was her second. She reached fame with her third. album Bibi Eshgh (released in 1995). The album was that year's bestseller with many unforgettable hits like Aria, Ghomarbaaz and Haghighat.
Susan is noted to liberally exercise her sex appeal in her music videos. Her Haghighat video directed by Alireza Amirghassemi raised much controversy for its revealing outfit, which was ahead for its time. She is also considered one of the most beautiful Iranian women as her look examplifies a typified Iranian look. In 1996, she collaborated with another Iranian singer, Siavash, and the resulting album was a success with two number one hits. Since then she has recorded three other notable albums. Her latest album named Vasvaseh (temptation in Persian) was released in 2006.

Anoushirvan Rohani انوشیروان روحانی و مهستی
Born in Rasht, Iran in 1939, Anoushiravan received music lessons from his father Reza Rohani, himself a poet and violinist. Anoushiravan later studied piano with Javad Maroufi, one of the most famous pianists in the Persian style, at the Persian National Music Conservatory in Tehran.
His passion for the keyboard and piano was so great that in 1963, he imported the very first electronic organ to Iran. Aside from the organ, he is also heard playing the accordion in many of his early works.
Despite many rumors, Rohani is not a Bahá'í. After the Iranian Revolution of 1979, he continued his composing in the Western world, principally based in Los Angeles and Germany, where he recorded albums under the MZM records labels.
His achievement as a Persian musician is not a feat that is held in great regard by Iranians alone. He has worked with a vast number of orchestras worldwide. One such orchestra worthy of being noted is the Czech Symphony Orchestra based in Prague, which performed the orchestral pieces of his album Love Melodies.
Anoushiravan Rohani has written and performed with a plethora of famous Iranian singers. Some of these singers include Vigen, Marzieh, Pouran, Hayedeh, Mahasti, and Ahdieh, all featured on Tehran-based radio stations and television channels. His songs are commonly resung and remixed by other artists.
Anoushiravan Rohani is the elder brother of Shahrdad, Ardeshir and Shahriyar Rohani.

Aghdashloo was born in Tehran, Iran as Pari Vaziri-Tabar ("Aghdashloo" is the family name of her former husband, famous Iranian painter Aydin Aghdashloo), to a wealthy family. Aghdashloo started acting at the age of 20. Following numerous starring roles on the stage, she was offered her first film role in Gozāresh (The Report) directed by renowned director Abbas Kiarostami, which won the Critics Award at the Moscow Film Festival. Her next film was Shatranje Baad (loosely translated: Chess With The Wind), directed by Mohammad Reza Aslani which screened at several film festivals. Unfortunately, both films were banned in her home country, but in 1978, Aghdashloo won acclaim for her performance in Sooteh Delan (Broken Hearts), directed by the late Iranian filmmaker Ali Hatami which established her as one of Iran's leading actresses.
During the 1979 Revolution, Aghdashloo left Iran for Windermere, Cumbria, England in the year 1978, where she completed her education. Aghdashloo still owns a separate vacation villa that she attends during most summer parts of the year. She earned a Bachelor's degree in International Relations. She continued to pursue her acting career, however, which brought her to Los Angeles. In 1987 Aghdashloo married actor/playwright Houshang Touzie. They had one daughter in 1989. She has since performed in a number of Touzie's plays, successfully taking them to national and international stages, primarily in the Iranian community.

Ebi interview Tapesh TV part 11/11
Soon after he met Shahbal Shabpareh and his brother Shahram. Ebi joined their new group "Black Cats" and they spent many nights performing at the Kochini club in Tehran.
He began his solo career by releasing the albums "Tapesh", "Nazi Naz Kon", "Shab Zade" and "Gole Yakh". During the 1990s, Ebi worked with Shahram Azar (from Sandy) who helped with new arrangements of Ebi's songs. In fact, most of the songs that Ebi performs live in concert have a different arrangement than their album version.
Ebi also teamed up with Siavash Ghomayshi who helped produce the albums "Setarehaye Sorbi" and "Shab-e Niloufari". Ebi currently lives, with his wife, in Spain and they spend much of their time as well in Sweden and L.A.

Googoosh interview on ITN, 5th and Final Part
In the 1970s, Googoosh was considered the most celebrated recording artist in Iran.[2] In addition to music, Googoosh was also an actress in many Persian films of the 1960s and 1970s. She is more widely known as a singer than as an actress. After the Iranian Revolution in 1979 she remained in Iran until 2000 but did not record or perform again due to the ban on solo female singers. Still, her following grew. Younger people have rediscovered her music via bootleg recordings.[3] Outside of Iran, she has a significant following in many Middle Eastern and Central Asian countries,[4] and currently resides in Los Angeles, California[5] and continues her career, albeit in a limited manner.

Omid Djalili Scottish film student sketch
The first significant success of his stand-up comedy career was at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 1995 with "Short, Fat Kebab Shop Owner's Son", followed by "The Arab and the Jew" in 1996. In his act he claimed to be the only Iranian comedian which, he said, was "three more than Germany". His stand-up routines and jokes focus primarily on multiculturalism and ethnic peculiarities. His hyperactive and energetic manner of imitating accents, undercutting political humour with absurd bellydances and singing has earned him a significant worldwide following.
He has performed in numerous countries, including Australia, Ireland, Denmark, Canada, Germany and the United States, where he had his own HBO Special and did 22 episodes of the NBC sitcom Whoopi with Whoopi Goldberg. Fans of his work include the Emir of Qatar, the late Robin Cook, and Bill Clinton. In 2003, he was listed in The Observer as one of the 50 funniest acts in British comedy. He did his part for Comic Relief after the 2005 Indian Ocean earthquake and also in 2005 he appeared on the British TV show Top Gear as a celebrity driver. The same year he broke Edinburgh Festival box office records with over 16,500 ticket sales. His subsequent No Agenda tour was released on DVD in 2007.
In 2006, Sky Television picked him to be the face of their Saturday night movie premières, and he also announced a new tour of the UK, from January 2007 until March 2007, covering 23 different dates.
On 18 March 2007 he was voted by the British public as the 60th best stand-up comedian in a Channel 4 programme "The 100 Greatest Stand-Ups".
On 26 October 2007 he guest-presented the BBC political quiz show Have I Got News for You.

Kimiai started his career as an assistant director and made his debut, Come Stranger, in 1968. With his second film, Kaiser (1969), he caused a historical change in Iranian film industry. The film became a great success in box office and opened the way for many young, talented filmmakers who never had a chance in the industry before. His films deal with the people in the margin of the society and his anti-hero characters die at the end.
Many directors of commercial films imitated his Kaiser during about 6 years, but in the last decade he focuses on young antagonists. He usually writes his screenplays, using slang dialogs based on ordinary traditional people’s dialect. He was awarded a prize in Berlin Film Festival for his Snake Fang as his sole international prize, but received many prizes in domestic festivals.
He was married to the late Iranian pop singer Giti, and also was married to the Iranian pop singer Googoosh.

His artistic career began in his teenage years as he acting in local plays. He then entered the world of radio and television in the early 1990s. Actively writing scripts for and participating in various comedy skits during the annual Norooz comedy television shows broadcasted by the IRIB.

He has starred in two full length films, and planned on entering the film industry once again after Shabhaye Barareh was complete, which did not happen as he started working on his next project, television series Baghe Mozaffar.
Modiri is also an active participant in the music world as he released a number of music albums and performed in a number of concerts in which all of his concerts were all sold out. He is also a veteran of the Iran–Iraq War. He is married and has two children.

Khosrow Shakibai was born to Colonel Ahmad Shakibāi and Ms Farideh Khātami. His father, who was an army Colonel, died from cancer when Khosrow (called Mahmoud by family and close friends) was only fourteen. Khosrow studied acting at Faculty of Fine Arts of University of Tehran. He began his stage career in 1963 and initiated his film acting in 1982 with Khatt-e Ghermez (The Red Line), directed by Masoud Kimiai. He had played in seven feature films when the film director Dariush Mehrjui offered him the title role of Hamoun, a film that over time has achieved a cult status.
Shakibai's performance in Hamoun marked a turning point in his career. He received a Crystal Simorgh at Fajr International Film Festival for his portrayal of Hamoun, a literary intellectual who gradually loses his touch with reality and becomes entrapped into an obsessive and destructive conflict with his estranged wife whom he deeply loves. Shakibai played also in some major television series. He won a Crystal Phoenix for Kimiā (The Philosopher's Stone) (1994) directed by Ahmad-Reza Darvish.
Shakibai found also a considerable following for his voice, brought about through publication of the recordings of his readings of poems by such luminaries of the modern Persian poetry as Forough Farrokhzad and Sohrab Sepehri.
Shakibai is credited for helping to raise the stature of performing arts in Iran by the end of the 1980s, when the authorities in charge tended to neglect this area of cultural activities.
He married twice. From his first marriage with the actress Tānyā Joharí he has one daughter named Poupak, and from his second marriage with Parvin Koush'yār one son named Pouryā.
Khosrow Shakibai died at 6 am on July 18, 2008, of liver cancer in Pārsiān Hospital in Tehran. Earlier it had been reported that Shakibai's death had been a consequence of his heart failure. Parviz Jāhed in an article with the title The Play is Over (Bāzi tamām shodeh ast), published by Radio Zamāneh (dated July 19, 2008), refers to Khosrow Shakibai's severe dependency on drugs and suggests that Shakibai's premature death is likely to have been precipitated by this dependency. It has further been reported that on October 5, 2007, Khosrow Shakibai had been admitted to a hospital for suffering from diabetes, however on his explicit request the press had withheld this information from public.
On Sunday, July 20, 2008, the body of Khosrow Shakibai was laid to rest in The Artists Section of Behesht-e Zahra Cemetery in Tehran. His funeral procession began at 9 am from Vahdat Hall (Tālār-e Vahdat), Hafez Street, in Tehran.
